Siân Martin is an experienced teacher of stitched textiles and has taught the City and Guilds syllabus to adults since 1980. She developed the concept of Distant Stitch in 1991 and is the author, director and tutor.

Siân has been exhibiting her textile work since graduating with a degree in Embroidery.
Siân exhibits her own work with three contemporary professional British textile art groups:
The 62 Group of Textile Artists, The Practical Study Group and Stitch Textile Artists.
