• Distant Stitch provides a personal, stimulating and enjoyable way of learning. 
• All our Courses are ONLINE Courses and are presented in modular stages.
• The Modules use straightforward text, easy to follow diagrams and full colour pages to guide students.
• Our tutors write their own Courses; they guide their students individually, building on their particular strengths and providing detailed written feedback in a constructive and sensitive manner. They will be your personal tutor throughout the course.
• You will enrol online, download your Course Modules from our website and communicate with your tutor by email.
• Your coursework will be posted onto a blog for tutorial feedback.

COURSE QUALIFICATIONS

Some Courses are offered with either a Distant Stitch or a City and Guilds award on completion.
We are not able to offer some of our courses with the City and Guilds option until we are notified that City and Guilds are intending to continue them after May 2012.
Please be aware of the last enrolment date for City and Guilds awards is May 2012.
There is a registration fee only with City and Guilds Courses.

At the moment we would encourage you to enrol on the equivalent Distant Stitch option as this offers the same learning experience and will follow the same course material. This means that it will be easy to transfer from one award type to the other.
